The recipe calls for 2 stalks of celery, but you can’t just buy 2 stalks, you have to buy the whole bunch. Then before you know it, you have a fridge drawer full of rubbery celery. Not cool! (Unless you like to munch on celery, which I don’t.)
So, why not chop ALL the celery at the same time you chop the 2 stalks that you need for the recipe. Taking a few extra minutes to chop can save you a few dollars on you budget. I found some 1 cup freezer containers at Walmart and they work perfectly.
A freezer full of chopped veggies will save you time and money!
